ART BASEL | report 2012
Let’s start with some updates from Basel - always considered the most important art fair of the world - opens today to the public.
At present is considered the reference business appointment for all profit-oriented operators in modern and contemporary art.
As from the show guide of Art Basel - as usual - this week presents a series of parallel shows, more or less specialized in a particular branch of the art field or simply presenting selected profile galleries.
This model -well exploited internationally (NYC, Miami e.g.) - can be compared to what happens in Italy during the Salone del Mobile (design art fair) in Milan, where you can take part also to thousands of events ongoing allover the city and it is replied difficultly in other smaller happenings in Italy.
Between some heavy rain and some occasional spark of light in the beautiful Swiss sky, I visited Art Basel…. This is what I find out…
Of course the choice of pics reflects my eternal passions in the art field and please, Reader does not expect to have an official report or judgment of works exhibited.
